Invited to submit an article for the Journal of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers (CABE), I chose to explore an issue that I’ve grappled with for many years.
Have we lost sight of who buildings are for?
The article became the main feature for the entire February 2021 issue. Through the article I consider the role of ethics in practice and professional bodies – a call for us to return to a position where the needs of people are the overriding factor in the design and construction of our environment.
